In 2007, ACCENT on Arrangements was selected by the DMC Network as its exclusive New Orleans member company, and successfully completed the requirements for the ADME Charter Accredited Destination Company designation as one of its charter members. In 2009, ACCENT was awarded two ADME Achievement Awards for Best Recreational Event and Best Innovative Event - $201,000 and above. This year, ACCENT is nominated in the “Best Meeting/ Conference Program Budget under $250,000” category for its unique “volun-tourism” activity, Volunteers Put Shovels to the Ground and Make Recovery Personal. ACCENT was hired to conceptualize, plan, execute and oversee the client’s community service activity for the purpose of connecting their meeting attendees with the recovering city in a way that would give back to the community while bringing colleagues together. In the “Best Meeting/Conference Program Budget over $250,000” category, ACCENT is nominated for its event “Attendees Receive Mardi Gras Royalty Treatment as NOLA is Back”. ACCENT was hired to conceptualize, research, plan, execute and oversee a client appreciation event. The client turned over all control to ACCENT to plan an authentic New Orleans experience event within their proposed budget. This memorable event showcased the food, flavor and culture of the mysterious city. The client asked for an event that would surpass the competition, and ACCENT was lauded for delivering just that.
